The predominant view today is women do not like men to wear pantyhose or tights. For the last several decades it has been women who wear pantyhose. Most women now view pantyhose and tights as a feminine garment. When a man wears them he is often viewed as odd or perverted.
Women are not accustomed to men wearing tights in general and find it strange for a man to wear them or to desire wearing them. Most women prefer to be viewed as the ones wearing pantyhose and tights in society today. As a social norm they prefer men to wear pants.

In addition, pantyhose have health benefits for those that stand or walk most of day on their feet. One can wear pantyhose with shorts when long stretches in the sun to protect from too much sun on your skin.
