The circulatory system (including specialized tissues) of plants which provide them with their essential nutrients, also including water and minerals. The xylem lies on the outside of a plant and carries the nutrients up to the parts of the plant (leaves, etc.). The phloem lies towards the inside of the plant and carries the waste back down towards the roots where it leaves the plant.
They make up the vascular system. Xylem transports water, and phloem transports sugars.

True
Vascular Tissues are the Xylem and Phloem. These are the transport system of plants in other words, the circulatory system. The Xylem is responsible for the traveling of liquids to its other organs while the Phloem absorbs food particles.
In these rings itself the vascular tissue, specially the xylem is gathered in a tree. The phloem remain peripheral to these rings.
The Phloem tissue carries the products of photosynthesis from the leaves to the rest of the plant
The xylem tube transports the water and minerals to the top of the plant or tree like the General Sherman. The phloem tube transports sugar or sap to all the living cells that cannot make its own sugar.
phellem(cork), phellogen(cork cambium), phelloderm(secondary cortex), primary phloem and secondary phloem constitutes BARK
The vascular cambium tissue makes xylem and phloem.
vascular cambium makes secondary xylem and phloem!!

Bark makes up the phloem tissue and a cork cambium that protects the stem.

xylem have hard wall cell. it is a dead complex permanent tissue. it is a water conducting tissue. PHLOEM; Phloem have relatively soft wall cell. it is a live complex permanent tissue. it is a water conducting tissue.
CAMBIUM
There are two types of vascular tissue in plants - the xylem and phloemXylem are elongated water conducting cells. The walls of the xylem are perforated and allow water and salts to pass though side ways from cell to cell. The walls of the xylem tissue are strengthened by deposition of lignin on them. This lignin makes the cell woody and impermeable. Xylem is the wood in woody plants that also help in supporting the plants.Phloem are living cells supported by companion cells. The end walls of these calls are perforated and allow organic solutes to flow to different parts of the plant.
Wood consists mostly of xylem cells, along with some cambium cells and phloem cells that appear as the 'growth rings' in wood cross-sections.
A fungus role is to break down dead or decaying organisms in the environment, while xylem and phloem are vascular tissues that makes up living cells in plants. With that said the fungus may try to steal its nutrients and affect the specific roles that xylem and phloem operates.
