Others believe that the Bible was inspired by God and, although it can contain errors of history and science, it is infallible on matters of faith. There is no evidence of either. The main conflict between science and religion is that science requires solid evidence of the Biblical events while religion is based upon faith in knowing that because the Bible is the word of God it is true and the events took place because the Bible says they did.
