What are ghosts capable of?
Ghosts, or Spirits as its better to call them, are normally not capable of much, just appearing when they feel they need to be noticed. BUT, poltergeists and malevolent (bad) spirits can be very distressing to families, especially young children and teens, who are more sensitive to paranormal activity. They can move things, make wierd noises and disturb you. REMEMBER, not all spirits are bad, some are benevolent, which means they are kind and gentle, and would rather be friendly to you than cause you problems. If you suspect you have activity in your home, call in a well established psychic medium/clairvoyant, they will answer any questions you have

Yes, however beware there are some ghosts/spirits that can pass off as friendly spirits to gain your trust and then cause you hell. Its sometimes hard to tell if a ghost/spirit is friendly or unfriendly making it dangerous for you to let one in youre home regardless of the fact. You must have a strong connection to the next dimensions to tell the difference with some ghosts/spirits so its best to make sure you are very very aware to prevent chaos.

Keep in mind that the paranormal is subjective to everyone's interpretation, so this is just our theory on your question. We classify "Spirits" as people who have died and passed over correctly. These people go to where they are supposed to whether it's heaven, home, the Other Side; whatever you call it. Spirits can come and visit us, but the difference is they always go back "home." If your grandfather comes on the foot of your bed after his death 2 days prior and tells you not to worry and that he's doing fine, then he is a "Spirit." A "Ghost" is an individual that for whatever reason, has decided to stay in a location and NOT go to where most people go. The reasons for their lagging behind varies on the individual themselves. With female ghosts their reason is usually emotionally driven; with males it tends to be driven by possessive or controlling behavior. Ghosts can leave their locations at any time and go "home", however, most of them have made a choice to stay and consider the places they haunt as their "home". Of course there are always some ghosts that are not even aware that they have died. There are many of those as well. But many of them are aware that they have died, and cannot "give up the ghost" so to speak.
