In keeping with the scope of this message board, it would be safe to assume narcissist can and will be addicted to several things.
Sex, having an audience, attention, self image, an "ideal love", on and on. its not so much that these habits are bad, its that the (Narcissistic) addict allows these things to consume their lives, to control them. Also N's are commonly substance/gambling addicts. Drugs, alcohol or even risk addiction. They cant lead normal ordinary lives because they are so easily bored with present company, spouse, sex partner, etc. They crave sex, attention and control over others like a drug. It can never be enough.

AnswerIt's called 'an addictive personality.' As the above poster correctly stated you can be addicted to many things. It's generally genetic. If an addictive personality goes out with friends they have to have more than one or two drinks or three to every one of their friends. If they smoke they smoke packs of cigarettes instead of a few. If they take cold meds if one will do several will do better. On and on it goes.An addict,plain and simple.No addict is better than another.
