What do you do about your pet rat Parents bought a rat but dealing with depression anorexia and always in hospital don't have time or the motivation to look after them How do you get rid of them?

Give your pet rat to a trustful friend or relative. Or someone in your village or neighborhood. Just please do not give it to someone random, or not trust worthy person, (or cats!!!), to ensure a loving and forever home. But if your pet rat is not a domestic rat, meaning it is a wild rat, you can just, uh..... set it free in the backyard??? Pls only set it free or give it away if necessary. And also don't set free DOMESTIC RATS. They do not carry many diseases, and still have a chance of having a forever home. Thanks and hope this helped! PS. Just keep an eye out for them or tell their parents what your friend is wanting to do so that friend can get help immediately. I'm a recovered anorexic.
