Guniea pigs can get cold i took it to a vet and they said it is common for a guinea pig to get a cold
and they recommended a anitbiotic specifically made for guinea pigs- which helped my guinea pig
You be a responsible pet owner and take him/her to the vet before it dies. Think of all it's done for you. It only takes a few days of having a sicknesss before it dies. It really had it long before you noticed. Guinea pigs are like that.
Take it to the vet right away! Respiratory infections are very dangerous for rodents, because they're so tiny. A vet will prescribe antibiotics and answer any questions you might have.
If your sick rat has trouble keeping warm, you can try putting a hot water bottle in with it, or put a heating pad under half of the cage. (Leave half unheated, so it can leave the warm area if it needs to.) Gatorade or Pedialyte is a good for dehydrated rat, and kitten or puppy replacement milk can help it get nutrition if it has trouble eating solid food.
Take it to a rodent vet. Or you could call or drop in to your nearest vet, and might get some help on medication or healthy eating tips for your rat. I have had a sick rat before and got some very helpful advice from my daily vet. Unfourtunetly it can be fateful but there is always a big chance of survival! Hopefull my help helped you about your sick or injured rat.
I'll assume you mean sick.
A sick rat should go to the vet. Most veterinary hospitals do not treat rats, however, so be sure to call ahead and find out if they have an exotics vet at the clinic you are calling.
A few good rules of thumb about visiting a vet for your rat - they should be comfortable handling your rat. They should be familiar with the different medications used for rats (ie. baytril, doxycycline, enrofloxacin, vibramycin, amoxicillin, cephalexin, azithromycin, clavamox, gentacin, gentamycin, metacam, etc).
Most rat illnesses can be treated with a course of antibiotics, typically given for 2-3 weeks, twice a day. It depends on the illness for what medication is prescribed.

You must take your bird to a vet immediately. It mightn't be a cold, and if it is your pet will still need prompt medical attention.
Well when I had one i found out that it is very rare that they get sick but when they do it is very hard to cure them. I would take it to the vet where care instructions will b given.
You should take him or her to the vet.
No, a guinea pig's cold is not transferable to humans.
Yes, the guinea pig can catch the common cold.
Only Killer Guinea Pigs are cold blooded.
It depends how cold it is. If you can go outside in a short sleeve shirt and not be cold, it is probably OK for your guinea pig. If it's very cold though, don't take the guinea pig out...even in a blanket!
my guinea pig do not feel good i left the window open and i was cold in my home
my guinea pig has the cold plese help he is amercain and so special to me its hard to say so please help!
Lukewarm. Not too warm, but not cold. ex: Bathing a guinea pig in the same temp as you bathe a dog is too hot.
A guinea pig because they are fatter and cuttier
You should not keep your guinea pig outside in the winter! They're natural climate is not cold and they cannot handle the cold. Your pig probably has a respiratory infection and she needs to see a vet right away. Please, please keep your guinea pig inside, even if it is just in your warm basement. They cannot handle winter weather. put the f%$# guinea pig inside!
Yes because guinea pigs are very social animals. It is highly recommended to have more than one guinea pig!
Yes because there is the after birth from the guinea pig
the guinea pig squeals because it thinks food is in it.
