First, I'm assuming you've already flushed the bleach off with fresh water -- hard to imagine you typing this with your feet screaming :} If I'm wrong though, that's the first thing to do -- thoroughly flush your feet in running water to get ALL the bleach off. Be careful not to get any on friends, pets, eyes, or cloth that isn't white. Treat it as you would any burn. If there aren't any blisters, you can basically treat it at home, applying an over the counter burn cream. That should keep the feet nicely lubricated and prevent more skin damage, as well as making them feel better. If you DO have blisters from this, leave the blisters alone, pad them gently until they break on their own. Then trim away the dead skin and treat as wounds -- a minor antiseptic (betadyne is nice), a sterile pad, and bandage. Treat the unblistered skin as described above. If any bleach got in your eyes, time to see the doc. Oddly, toenail infections are often systemic in that the fungus may propagate throughout the body, so removing the toenails, topical ointments, etc. don't work extremely well (depending on the degreee of infection and which fungus this is). One last thought about home remedies: most are harmless, some actually do help, and a few are dangerous. Bleach is one of the damgerous ones. It's a great disinfectant (read disinfecting things -- not people), but it can be really really nasty. If all you get from this experience is a minor chemical burn, this may be the price of education. Read the label :} And please forgive me if I sound a little too preachy there .

Bleach will work if it is an air sealed area. Say a trash can then closing the lid to the fumes will kill them. It is recommended to use bleach along with boiling hot water This way they cannot stick to the surface after they pass on.

Are you supposed to use bleach on white clothes?

You may use bleach on white clothes to ensure their whiteness. It is not necessary though. Best for specific stains and wash in hot water with other whites only. I do not agree with the above answer! I had two sons taking karate lessons, and those uniforms were all white 100% cotton pants and shirts. I could not get those uniforms clean! I had grown up believing that Chlorox bleach was the only bleach to use, but that stuff did NOT get those white uniforms clean! In fact, they came out of the washer looking very yellowed! I asked someone else, who also had two sons in sports, and she told me about Biz bleach. The difference was like night and day! When I rewashed the uniforms using Biz, they came out of the washer white and bright--just like the day I bought them! When I began to inquire about the differences between Chlorox and Biz, I learned that Chlorox is a chlorine bleach, and Biz is a non-chlorine bleach. You should never use chlorine bleach in your laundry. It's great for other cleaning jobs, but not laundry. Biz is great for all your laundry, including colors. It really does do what the box tells you it does.

How do you clean out the drain lines in your central air conditioning system what is the recipe with chlorox?

1 table spoon of bleach for each cup of water. 2 cups should do the trick, once every year. You may need to blow out the drain with compressed air. water/bleach will keep it clean but it will not unclog the blockage.
