(go to petstore for a hamster ball) put you hamster in the ball and let them run around on flat floor for about 15 min. everyday as well as cutting down on their food just a little bit. hope this helps (:

Go to your Vet it could be anything from reaction to vaccination, fatty lump or Cancer but you need to make sure.
Lymphoma does not usually present in this manner, I believe you meant to say, could a lump on my back be a lipoma (benign fatty tumor). The above is true, but would like to add that fatty lumps (even hard lumps) are not always cancerous. ANY LUMP should be seen by your doctor so get in there ASAP. It will put your mind at rest.
A soft, non-painful lump in a dog's neck could be a lipoma, or fatty tumor. It can also be a cyst that a veterinarian can drain.
You would need to take your gerbil into to see a Veterinarian to check him or her out. It could be a cancerous lump, or a fatty tumor, etc. but only your Vet would be able to diagnose this.
It could be a glandular problem, or simply a fatty lump - HOWEVER - if you're worried, see your doctor !
A lump at the base of a cats tail can be an indication of many things. Some of these things include an abscessed wound, cyst, broken bone, or a simple fatty tumor.
It may just be a fatty tissue deposit, but it's always best to get any lump checked out by a doctor just in case.
This sounds like a benign fatty tumor [do you have any on your back or legs?]. Lymph nodes are firm and NOT fatty-feeling; they also can increase and shrink in size. Fatty tumors do not. If it bothers you a general surgeon can easily removed it for you.
I have one myself. Mine is a harmless, soft, fatty tumor called a lipoma. If your lump is hard and/or painful see a doctor.
If a kidney is "fat" it is inflamed or swollen probably from infection or some type of growth in your kidney. The kidneys are sophisticated reprocessing machines. Every day, a person's kidneys process about 200 quarts of blood to sift out about 2 quarts of waste products and extra water. They could be overworked and damaged too.
If you have a lump that large, or any size you should see your doctor to make sure that it is not cancerous. Good luck:) I have a small fatty lump at the top of my spine, and I suspect it is a small 'buffalo hump', caused by my adrenal gland tumor producing too much cortisol. I haven't got the diagnosis yet. Please google buffalo hump, and/or Cushing's disease.
