That has happened to me before and what I did was that I talked to the person and tried to see what I can do, but if the person simply doesn't want to talk to you, I advice that you should let the person calm down and then the person will come to you and talk to you.
From what i have experienced, at times things get really bad just because both the parties are waiting for the other to say something. I suggest that always be the first one to initiate the conversation. Its OK if you have to do it over and over again, that's what love is all about. You just need to reassure the person that you still do love him/her. Keep trying and things do get better, however tough they seem at the moment.

∙ 13y agoThe first thing you do when someones mad at you is you want to give them space. If you don't know what you did wrong, don't be afraid to ask them. After you've given them a few days to calm down, talk. If you don't feel you did anything wrong, let them know in a kind way. Talk it out with them and if things start to escalate, stop it before the yelling comes in. If you know you did something wrong, admit it. Absolutely do not every make up excuses for what you did wrong, things are only going to get worse. Make sure to keep the conversation calm and peaceful. After the conversation, whether they forgive you or not, be extra nice and kind to them for the next few days.
