If the minibots stop moving, you have no way to get them to plug into the yellow power balls (there are 2 at the bottom and 2 at the top).
Unfortunately, there is a known glitch in the game that makes minibots or Director D stop attacking. The only known way to address this is to reboot Poptropica and replay the BAD hideout section.
This "freeze-up" only occurs for less than 10% of the players.

There are 4 minibots and 4 glowing yellow orbs in the room (2 on the floor and 2 up higher where you will need to grapple). Lead each minibot to an orb, and when his plug touches, he will be destroyed.
You will have to reboot Poptropica and replay the control center again. The freeze-up can affect the minibots or Director D, and is a known glitch for the island.
If the minibots or Director D do not attack immediately and continuously, the game has frozen up. You will have to reboot Poptropica and replay the control center sequence. This is a known glitch affecting many players on Spy Island.
When you have defeated the minibots and director D, you are transported back to Spy headquarters to receive the Medallion. You are also made the new Director.(see related question)
If the minibots freeze, or don't all come out, you have hit a severe glitch in the Spy Island program. You will have to re-boot Poptropica and enter the BAD hideout all over again. This is a known problem that has never been adddressed. Fortunately, the freeze-up can apprently only happen *once* in the game.
Lead them towards the yellow orbs : there are 2 on the floor and 2 higher up in the room. Use the grappling bowtie to reach the upper ones. If a mini-bot touches an orb with its power plug, it explodes. (NOTE : If a minibot or director D stops moving, you will need to reboot Poptropica and replay the control center sequence. This freeze-up is a known glitch.)
Both the minibots and the flying control center try to shock you. You should be wearing your Grappling Bowtie to avoid them. Each of the four minibots can be led to a yellow "power ball" : there are two at the top and two at the bottom of the room. When the minibot plug hits the power ball, they explode. When all are gone, Director D attacks you personally. Grapple up to the ceiling. When he tries to hit you, he will smash into the ceiling and damage the control center. After 4 collisions, the machine will crash. This is the end of the game and you are taken back to Spy Headquarters. * FREEZE : if either the minibots or Director D stops moving, you must reboot Poptropica on your browser and re-play the hideout sequence. This is a programming glitch.
Lure the 4 minibots to the yellow power orbs (2 at the bottom, 2 higher up), then battle Director D in his flying control center. Use your grapple bowtie to get up to the ceiling, and he will damage the robot when he hits the ceiling. Continue until he crashes.GlitchIf any of the minibots, or Director D, stops moving, the game has locked up. Reboot Poptropica and replay the satellite center again. This is a known glitch and there is no way to get the enemies moving again.
On spy island, you stop B.A.D. and its leader Director D.
No, the guards can always beat you up. The first spy you rescue seems to have no problem jumping one of them, though. Use the Chameleon Suit wherever guards try to stop you. When you stop moving, you are invisible.
There is nothing you can do if the Mini-bots freeze up. You will probably have to reboot Poptropica and do Spy Island over -- you may get to keep your items. Before you reboot, try this: leave the satellite using the transporter, go back to Main Street, and leave Spy Island. Then come back and return to the satellite using the transporter. This has occasionally de-glitched the island.
