He's obviously still in love with his ex. Sometimes people that get married have problems and get divorced. When they have had time away from each other they are quite surprised at how much they miss each other. This seems to be one of those cases. As much as it hurts you, you are going to have to accept the fact he still loves his ex and is trying to get back with her. If he is dating you then tell him to make up his mind. Don't sit by while he has the best of both worlds because he is going to hurt someone, and that someone is going to be you. Good luck Marcy
