What do you do if you've been saving up my makeup for 5 yrs and now all of a sudden you have to get rid of it?

Well, if you have to get rid of it because of safety reasons, you should. It is not wise to save up makeup for a long time because it can often "expire" as in flaking, drying out, or becoming liquidy. You can always read labels on your old makeup so you can purchase the same type in the future. Next time, don't save it up so long!
