This questions brings back memories! I remember being like 13(not really into boys at that time), but I was starting to feel shy and what not around them. I didn't feel pretty, I felt chubby. I wrote in my diary that I would never have a boyfriend. Then I turned 15 and WALA! I started dating and haven't stopped since. I don't know how old you are, but if you're old enough to date, try not to rush. Let it happen. Chances are there are a few cuties out there who have their eye on you! Try a new shade of lipstick, or a new perfume & it you're not the foo foo type, get some new jeans and favorite color top. Do something that makes you feel good about yourself. Your inside attitude will show outside 10 fold, and people will want to talk to you, and get to know you.

if its your mum and dad then just don't tell them , if he comes to ur house say hes a friend be careful they don't find out though.

i say that it is a good thing to tell your parents. they want to know this kind of stuff and most likley they will be exited your at this stage of maturity and you have a boyfreind. keeping it a secret won help. things will go around at school and they will find out eventually. its good to get it off your chest and tell them.
