Well, I guess people who we label as "emo" are just people who express themselves through how they dress; you could say they are just normal people have guts to push the boundaries of fashion and music. I don't know about other people, but this is how i perceive them. They're just like you and me, I do not have any bias against them any way. I know what you are talking about, well for me, I have certain times when I just feel "emo", you know.... I have my moments when I want to dress in black and put on heavy makeup...
If you feel "emo", just express yourself through how you dress. I don't know what they do, honestly, but I think its along the lines of showing people your emotions without telling them, like how you dress. I think they're just misunderstood.

why is anyone emo? if you mean emo as in they cut themselves then it is because P Jotr either a. feels as if they cannot handle the pain they feel and the physical pain is a lot easier to handle than the mental hurt or b. they feel numb and cutting themselves is the only way they can feel anything but if you mean emo as in the actual sense (emo as in emotional) that is something you must ask them yourself . it could be an event that happened in their life that made them depressed or angry or confused.
