Tell him that you just don't have feelings about him anymore, and you like another guy, but you hope that you guys can stay friends. You don't have to be that honest if you don't want to be, but at least say Look, I just don't have feelings for you, but can we at least stay friends.
I am going through exactly that, I don't love my boyfriend anymore, but what sucks for me, is that I think I am falling in love with my best guy friend. :o
