If the rock has broken the skin, first clean it off with water and then apply an antiseptic. If it is bleeding excessively, elevate your foot and put pressure on the wound. Cover the wound with sterile gauze until it has scabbed over. Cuts on the bottom of the foot are slow to heal since few people can stay off the injured area.
If your foot has been punctured or the cut is very deep, seek immediate professional help. These kinds of wounds can bleed a lot and are prone to infection. Swelling can also be an indication of infection.
