Well, since I don't know you or him, for all I know, you two are actually destined to get married and you'll end up telling your kids how you rejected Daddy when he first asked you out. Without knowing all about your specific situation, I can't really give any advice. All I can offer is my own experience, which has been that a guy becomes a lot more attractive when he seems to have gotten over you. A couple of times at least, after rejecting someone who goes on to date another girl and forget about me, or after being dumped by someone who I was going to dump anyway...all of a sudden they become way more attractive.
So, if that is the case with you -- and again, only you can say whether or not it is -- I would just let it go. Even if you get him back, chances are, after awhile you will start remembering why you rejected him in the first place. Or, alternatively, you won't have any power in the relationship anymore, and you'll always be chasing after him, just a little bit.
