What do you do if your 2004 our Chevy Suburban rans out of gas and will not restart after putting gas in the tank?

If you are sure that it ran out of fuel and that the fuel pump is running then turn the key on ( Do not try to start it) wait 10 seconds and then turn key off wait 10 seconds and repeat this step about 4 times. Then try to start the engine.
