In my opinion you are probably a girl as most guys don't wish to have the label of boyfriend/girlfriend attached so early. Its usually the girl who insists on it. As far as pure time goes, I think 2-3 months before such a label is justified. Until then you are dating or "seeing each other". There is no disrespect in those titles IMO.
