Well what it sounds like to me is that he is trying to get your attention maybe something has changed in his life or something in the family where he does not fell like you give him the same attention as you did before seeing that he is doing this on purpose. I would simple sit down with him after he gets ready for bed and ask him if their is anything that's been bothering him and make sure he knows you wont be mad no matter what he tells you. after he talks to you if he does or does not tell you about his wetting tell him you noticed a strange stain or smell from his sheets and that you think he has started wetting the bed and that you feel its better for him to wear some diapers for a short time till this passes over. Make sure you get the ones with childish prints on them and you need to use the wipes and powder to till the bag is gone. By the time the bag is done he will ask you to stop and then do. He need to know that wetting the bed its not something fun to do and those that really wet the bed don't enjoy it.
