When you are accepted as a member of WIT, you will be able to access the WIT page by clicking "WIT Home" which is found on the bottom of the left toolbar.
When you visit the link, you will see a list of missions which you can accept and complete at your own pace in return for credits and awards.

How long does it take to join the WIT program?
Once you apply for the WIT Program, the WIT coordinator will contact you within one business day. You will be contacted whether you are accepted into the program or not.
Which members have the WIT Alumni badge?
WIT Alumni badges are issued to WIT members once they reach 19 years of age. The badges can also be issued to WIT members in good standing who decide to retire or move on from the program.

How much commitment is needed to be part of WIT?
Like our other programs on WikiAnswers, WIT is a volunteer program. Therefore, you are welcome to participate in WIT as you have time. As long as you are active on WikiAnswers, you can remain in the WIT Program. If you go more than 60 days without making any contributions on Answers.com, you will be removed from the WIT Program. However, you are welcome to reapply to the program once you return to the site.
Does WIT have weekly goals?
Currently, WIT does not have weekly goals. WIT missions are assigned on an individual basis. Once you complete a mission, you get a new one. Previously, missions were assigned to all WIT members as a group each week. We changed the program format so each person could work on missions more suited to their individual tastes.
Do you get you Wiki Influential Teens badge taken away when you get to be an adult?
If you continue to participate in WIT once you have passed the age of 18, your WIT badge will not be removed. Your badge is only removed if you stop participating in the program.
How long must you wait before you are admitted to the WIT program via email?
When you apply to WIT, be sure to include all necessary information in order to expedite the process. Necessary info includes: * Your WikiAnswers user name * Date of birth * Which of the four WIT divisions you wish to join * Your favorite topics on WikiAnswers * How you heard about the WIT Program Once you apply to join WIT, someone will contact you within one business day.
What happens to WIT members when they turn 18 and don't want to leave?
If you want to keep participating in WIT, we would love to have you!! We certainly are not going to kick you out. :-) The WIT Program is currently open to teens between the ages of 13-18. Neila222, the WIT Coordinator, gives everyone missions based on their individual interests. Members receive prizes and reward badges for completing missions. Once you reach age 19, you will receive a WIT Alumni badge on your profile page. If you are still interested in working on WIT missions after that, then you most definitely can.

How do you choose a WIT mission?
Once you are a member of WIT you will have access to the WIT Program Page. You can access this page by clicking on "WIT home" on your toolbar under "My pages". Missions are listed in the mission builder on this page. To choose a mission, simply click "DO IT!" underneath the mission of your choice. This will move the mission to the "In progress tab". Once you have completed your mission, click the "Complete" button underneath your mission. Alternatively, you can press "changed my mind" if you would like to pick a different mission instead. Once you have completed your mission you are free to choose another one right away. Your completed missions will be checked and approved or returned to the "in progress" tab if you haven't quite completed it.
