It is difficult and it hurts very much. You just have to go through the grief and let time handle the pain. Cry as often as you want to as there are healing chemical in your tears. Talk to someone who understands. There is a Rainbow Bridge website on the internet where you can share your grief & post pictures of your beloved pet. Share your grief, it helps. Remember that someday you will see your pet again. I believe in a heaven for them.
When your dog dies while your at school and they tell you once you get on the car or when you get home all you do is either hold it in until night or start crying and go to your room and cry your self to sleep and think about the memories you had with your dog. Also if you don't care that your dog died IDK.!! That's all.
My dog just died, I tried to distract myself with friends and T.V. Baking can be very soothing. If you think a pet is going to die, I would suggest cleaning the house thoroughly so that after the pet dies, there aren't as many reminders. Also, memorials help for closure. After the initial shock of death, seeing actual pictures and such of them around the house really helps to distract from the tricks your mind plays on you. And it might seem insensitive, but getting another pet to hold and love helps fill the void. If you do that, shelter animals are the best choice because you feel heroic for rescuing them. i am sorry for your loss.
That depends on where you live, if you own your own home bury the dog, if you are a renter then you would have to take the dog to your vet for cremation. Also when your doglicense comes do write on it "deceased" and the date and mail it back.

Consult a worker in the fish department at your local pet shop. (PetCo, Pet Smart, etc.) If he/she doesn't know, then see if your fish gets better. If not and it dies, then flush it. :'(
Stroking or cuddling the pet. This releases "feel-good" hormones in both the pet and the petter.
No. A dog is a better and more loyal pet
As a pet, it is illegal to experiment on them. It is your responsibility as a pet owner to take care of your pet and experimenting on them means putting the health of your pet at risk.
Unless your cat died of an infectious disease, like feline leukemia, there is no 'correct' waiting time. You will have to decide when you feel ready to have another cat in the house. Just like people, no two cats are alike. You will not be able to replace your cat, but you may find having a new cat to be a comfort. Trust yourself. You will know when you are ready.
Talk to her. say her pet is in a good place now, your pet is always alive in her heart.Or if that does not work you can always take her to the movies, or to a resteraunt, or someplace else she likes(P.S, she will get over it soon)Answer:Make her laugh! Laughter is the best cure for a broken heart. Don't mention the pet at any costs; that will make her feel worse. Like the answer says above, take her somewhere, her favorite place!
its gona suck, and a few bad things that happen over the next month are gona feel worse than they really are, and the few good things that happen you arent gona notice, best thing to do is let your freind stop suffering, wait the appropriat greving time and resque, save, or adopt a pet that's gona die if it doesint have a good owner to take that animal in Answer 2: you will be very deperessed, and sad here are some tips: Emotions can get pretty complicated when a pet dies. You probably expect to feel sad, but you may have other emotions, too. For example, you may feel angry if your friends don't seem to realize how much losing your pet means to you. Or perhaps you feel guilty that you didn't spend more time with your pet before he or she died. It's natural to feel a range of emotions when a pet dies.
Medicine and comfort seem to work.

You simply re-summon it. If you are talking about a hunter pet that dies in battle, then you have to use the hunter spell "Revivie Pet".
