It depends...Do you have a PC or a laptop? For a laptop, you first need to make sure the light flashing 'Service' is green on your 'BROADBAND PpOE'. DO NOT CLICK ON DIAL-UP!! That service sucks. Click on 'Available Wireless Networks'. At the bottom of the DSL or Broadband, it should say 'WIRELESS NETWORK KEY'. Type that in when it asks you for a password. The cable that has 'Ethernet' should be plugged in. Then connect to a network. It's on your taskbar. A picture of two computers. It should have a blue circle in the center. If you need more help, call the toll- free number of the person that connected your internet. If you don't know it, ask your parents for their phone bill. It will have the number somewhere. For ATT CALL 1800 288 2020. Thanks! You do the same thing for a PC. I hope it's helpful.

How do you connect your PS3 online with an ethernet cable and cable modem?

You purchase a router and connect it to the cable modem and then connect everything to the router. Otherwise you have to unplug whatever is connected to the cable modem (for example a PC) and plug in the PS3 . Whatever you have unplugged is no longer connected to the internet until you unplug the PS3 and plug it back into the modem. Once the PS3 is connected to the cable you need to go to network settings on the PS3 and set up the network connection.

If i have a digital cable box and plug it into my basic cable will i get digital cable?

No. No when it comes to subscription channels such as MTV, Food Netowrk etc. You have to have a cable box that is from a local cable provider and call the company to activate the service. If you have an HDTV with a digital tuner, you can plug in the basic cable from a wall into your television and scan for channels. You will only get unencrypted / basic network channels such as CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS, etc.
