When you know a dog gave birth and if you are absolutely positive it is the first pup, then bring mom and pup to a box lined with a layer of newspapers and old but clean rags. Other than this one time, don't touch the pup again. Put mom and pup in the box in a quiet corner.
Watch mom and make sure she has another pup within 30-60 minutes. IF not, or if mom seems in distress, take her AND the first pup to the vet (pup will need mom so do not separate them).
Labor should progress every 30-60 minutes or so. Mom will lick her privates and you may see the area begin to bulge. Talk quietly to her, but let her do her job. She should push out one after another (with time in between).
NOTE: If you don't know if it is the 1st born and your dog is outside with the puppy, you may need to wait to bring her in until she leads you to the rest (if she had any others).
That precious pup is a Jack Russell terrier.
Introducing a JRT pup to a home with an eight-year-old Jack Russell Terrier can work well, but it requires careful management. Ensure both dogs are introduced gradually in a neutral space to minimize territorial behavior. Supervise their interactions closely to observe their dynamics and provide positive reinforcement for good behavior. With patience and proper socialization, they can coexist happily.
It just depends where you get one - they can range from $200 - $500. Check your local Humane Societys or shelters you may be able to get one there for cheap - its better to adopt a pet that is in need of a home. I had my Jack Russell for 20yrs - great little dogs!!
Yes. but only if the cat and dog grow up together. They don't do well if the dog is grown and the cat is young. older cat and young pup is probably fine.
$2500 to $5000 for a quality pup.
twice a day
Yorkshire Terrier.
Wow! Well only help is to keep it away from tanning beds... Nah just kidding, you probably have to wait it out. If anything is wrong, call a vet.
To train a Wheaten Terrier pup to retrieve a frisbee, start by introducing the frisbee in a fun and engaging way, allowing the pup to explore and play with it. Use treats and praise to encourage the pup to pick up the frisbee and bring it back to you. Gradually increase the distance you throw the frisbee, using positive reinforcement when the pup retrieves it successfully. Consistency and short, positive training sessions will help reinforce the behavior and keep your pup motivated.
I had a female miniature bull terrier and she had a litter of 3 males and they all weighed around 1 1/2 pounds but it also depends on the mother and father.

Jackawawa pups, a mix between a Jack Russell Terrier and a Chihuahua, typically range in price from $300 to $800, depending on factors such as the breeder's reputation, the pup's lineage, and geographic location. It’s important to choose a reputable breeder to ensure the health and well-being of the puppy. Additionally, adoption from shelters or rescue organizations may provide a more affordable option while giving a dog a loving home.
