Don't freak out! This happens to me all the time, so I always have to deal with these things. Try talking to it, maybe you can find out whats wrong and how to help it. If the ghost won't communicate, try to show that you won't hurt it. Remain as calm as you can and just try to talk to it, even if it doesn't answer back. Reassure it that its safe [i.e. Its okay, I'm not going to hurt you. Whats wrong? Is it something I can help with?] Try not to sound angry, try to sound sweet and caring, they have a way of telling what kind of person you are that way and that's how they can reassure if you will or will not hurt them.
