Cell phones are like radios. You have to remove the battery first. This will keep the phone from shorting out. With the battery removed, place the phone in a place where it can air dry. A warm dry place works best. Do not use artificial heat like an oven to dry the phone. You may use a hairdryer set on a low setting or cool. Too high of a heat may melt important internal parts. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE!!! Be patient and let it dry.
