Depends on what your situation is. You could just stop responding all together or you could counter-troll. Sometimes just not responding just feeds the trolls and you don't want that to happen. So that might be the wrong course to take. Don't respond by flaming or using predictability, trolls love this and it is why they originally troll for in the first place. Cut off their food source by either counter-trolling or somehow outwitting them. You know you've one when someone has said "own'd", "pwn'd", or if there is a general overwhelming of the weakening troll. Either way, good luck and may the force be with you.
