If you can demonstrate to others that you are right, than you should do so. If you can't then it may not be provable by you and you should just accept the fact that your opinion is different than others. You should also consider the possibility that they may be right and try to see their point of view. There are also people who are so opinionated that no proof will be effective. You should accept the situation and leave it alone until the situation changes.
