What do you do when you were on effexor 75mg for a year and it stopped working got bumped up to effexor 150mg now that's stopped working i heard it's called poop out syndrome?

I would never take Effexor again. To wean off of it, you should ask your dr. to lower the dose. I heard that taking prozac for a few weeks can help get off of effexor. Doctors should use ECT treatments, that reset your brain sometimes, because that actually works. Very few anti-depressants work, maybe prozac. I guess it depends on the individual person what works.
