When a Kindle Fire freezes you automatically shut it down and wait 30 seconds . Then turn it back on and refresh what ever page you was on . I have real life experience with this kind of troubles.

∙ 12y agoFirst, hold the on button for at least 15 seconds. Wait 2-10 seconds and your kindle will restart. If it doesn't work try to charge the kindle and then hold the button for 15 seconds and wait.

∙ 12y agoIf your kindle fire freezes up, what I did was that I pressed the power button until it powered off. There might be another way, but that's what I did. I hoped that helped

∙ 9y agoIf a Kindle is frozen, you might have to try pressing 'off' a couple of times. Leave it for five minutes, and when you come back it should work and be fully updated.
