Depends on what "crime" he has committed. If it's something that is beyond repaid line being unfaithful, or always bailing on you to go out with his friends. Then obviously he's not that into you. And to be fair, you may as well leave the relationship now and you could get a better person where you'd be treated fairly. If it's something small, talk to him about it and see what he could do to improve a bit.
