- Don't waste the time of the girl you don't like that much. Listen to your friend because it's obvious neither of you like this girl. It is dishonest to continue being friends with this girl when neither of you really like her. Continue on with your friend and drop the one you don't care for.

Flirt a little with the girl you like, and if she has a phone, you should text her. Then, as time goes by, she will probably end up liking you and her friend will just have to suck it up.

It could be, I've had some of both, yes and no. It could mean that your 'someone that hates you' is saying something bad about you, but your friend could be just listening to that person, or, if your friend agrees that whatever bad the other person is talking about you is right, then your 'friend' is probably not really your friend. You should try talking to your friend about it.
