This is not by any means a boring job! Everyday is different. Its great meeting so many different kind of people. And after they have had a couple of drinks that is very entrusting since I am straight! You must take care of your customers.. cab, cut off . etc.. I love my job! Not a boring 8-5 job. I had one of those. Some people that work office jobs knock bartending and Server jobs..well.. I tell you we make twice the money that they do. Trust me Ive been there. I worked for an OBGYN Doctor. I make so much more money now. And My hours are great. I work 7-3 pm. No getting up early any more. If you want to learn how to bartend I can recommend a great bartending book/course. It is the best place for bartenders to learn their trade. They also sell bartending equipment so if you need supplies and barware you can get it all in one place.
