Baby dwarf bunnies eat the same foods as other baby pet bunnies. (For the record, adult dwarf bunnies also eat the same foods as other adult pet bunnies. Dwarf rabbits don't need a special diet.)

Baby bunnies wean between 4 and 6 weeks. Once they're weaned, they should have 100% 24/7 access to three things: water, alfalfa hay (or alfalfa-timothy mix), and high-quality pellets.

At 12 weeks, you can start introducing fresh leafy greens (like Romaine lettuce) in very small portions, but watch for adverse reactions (like gas or mushy poop/diarrhea) and if you see any, cut back on greens and consider eliminating that particular green altogether. At 6 months, you can start introducing fresh fruit or vegetables in tiny portions (like a tiny bite of apple or carrot).

From 7 to 13 months, rabbits should slowly transition from a juvenile to an adult diet. See the related questions below for more details and/or helpful links.

Pellets, and Hay. I'd use Timothy hay, you can use Alphalfa Hay until it gets to be about 5 months, but I'd just get a big thing of Timothy Hay. (Alphalfa is richer than Timothy, It's like how a mothers milk is richer than bottled milk?) Also if you give him/her any greens, (like cabbage or lettuce) make sure they are dark colored greens!! Rabbits can NOT have either lettuce or cabbage because it'll cause diarhea and bloating and he/she can die from that! (I give my bunbun turnips) You should call any vet place and ask them what types of veggies you should give it.

tiny little pellet's, recommended by the pet store they should be able to eat be 8 months

An 8 month old rabbit is ready to move from a juvenile to an adult rabbit's diet. Take two months to slowly transition the bunny, because sudden changes in diet can make rabbits sick.

Generally speaking, juvenile rabbits eat unlimited pellets, unlimited alfalfa hay, and very small portions of fresh leafy greens.

Generally speaking, adult rabbits eat unlimited timothy and other grass hays (no alfalfa), limited pellets (about 1/8-1/4 cup for a 6 pound rabbit), limited leafy greens (2-3 packed cups for a 6 pound rabbit), and optional treats (1-2 tablespoons fruit or veg for a 6 pound rabbit).

And, of course, all rabbits drink unlimited water!

What is the best pet store to buy a dwarf bunny?

I would not buy a bunny from a pet store. They are usually not in very good condition and usually dont com from good breeders. Try looking in your local paper or on craigs list to find a local breeder with baby dwarf bunnies.

What should you feed a baby cottontail bunny?

A baby cottontail bunny will typically nurse until the age of 4 or 5 weeks at which time the mother cottontail will wean the baby. After the baby cottontail bunny has been weaned it can easily feed itself on grass and other vegetation that it finds.
