Pet mice can consume about 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of water per day. Wild mice often get by on much less than that.
Fill a pipette with baby soy milk formula (or kitten milk) and feed it to the baby mouse every 1-2 hours
Mice usually live for about 1.5 to 3 years.
It depends greatly on genetics- poorly breed mice live a lot less. Diet and care also play a role in lifespan. Average for pet mice is 1 to 2 years. Although I have had pet mice live to 4 and beyond. Captive wild house mice live around 5 years in captivity- although it's best to leave these guys in the wild!
Pet mice live to 1-2 years.
It is very hard to keep baby mice from dieing when the mother is not there. You need to feed them a substitute milk every 2 hours with an eyedropper. You need to keep them warm too. GOOD LUCK.
First off you don't "find and catch" mice to keep as pets, if you did happen to capture a wild one there is a high risk of biting, rabies, and fleas. If you want a pet mouse (although I would suggest a rat because they are much easier to handle and are more friendly) you need to go to a pet store. The animals at most pet stores are typically more healthy and friendly than a wild one, not to mention more safe and have a much longer life expectancy (wild mouse 1/2 -1 year, pet store 1-2 1/2 years.
Pet mie live from 1 to 2 years.
