Usually, if you only match one number, that does not mean you won. To win the jackpot, you must match all the numbers. On the other hand, some sources are saying that if you matched 5 of the 6 numbers, that gets you a prize of as much as $150,000. If in fact you have 5 numbers (or if you are the person who won the entire jackpot), you would notify the Mega Millions lottery office in your state and they would give you instructions for claiming your prize.
Generally you need to get at least 4 winning lotto numbers to win anything on a normal lottery draw. However, if you're playing a game with only a few numbers like Pick 3 you would win something. At a guess, you're talking about a lottery. In which case, it depends on the lottery... but probably not. A few examples from California: Daily 3 and Daily 4 lotteries don't pay anything for two numbers. The "Fantasy Five" lottery doesn't give cash for matching two numbers, but it does give a free replay. SuperLotto Plus' most recent (at the time of this writing) draw paid $1 for matching the "Mega" number, $2 for matching the "Mega" number and any other number. It doesn't pay anything for two matches if one of them isn't the "Mega". Mega Millions works the same, except the most recent draw payouts were $2 and $3 respectively.

no, b/c you can think of an odd number as an even number plus one. So if you add two odd numbers, you would be adding 2 even numbers plus 2... Let # be even... (#+1) + (#+1) = (#+#) + 2 two even numbers added together are always even

You will only win with 2 numbers if they also have the mega ball with them. You will win $10.00.
