The first thing to do when you buy anyone a present, is consider their personality; are they athletic, artistic, shy, musical? Choose a present that suits their personality, making sure it is something they will actually use, and will be comfortable using. Little trinkets and stuff that is just for show are probably not a good idea, because at that age, they probably already have enough stuff littering their rooms. So good luck!

Try getting her some new clothes, they usually love them. Or a lipgloss, or perfume. Maybe some sparkly hair glitter or hair slides, and body shimmer - it depends how girly she is though, and on your budget.

You could get her an ipod if you want, or a voucher or gift card for their favourite shop is always fine if you're still stuck. Sometimes girls like to choose their own presents.

You could also try furniture for her room - a new bed canopy, a chair that swings round, etc. Or a big photograph of her and her friends. for her wall.
