You may have to elongate the mounting hole in the trans cross member....or cut a small amount of it off to clear the pan. If your car doesn't have a lock up torque converter (still using the computer) you'll need to use an aftermarket non-lockup converter or install an aftermarket lock up kit. Other than that, it's a fairly simple swap. The 700-r4 uses a TV cable to control kick down instead of the kick down cable of the TH350. Same principle. Should still use the same bracket. Also, the 700-R4 doesn't use a vacuum controlled modulator. You'll need to plug that port at the carb/manifold.
No
700r NEW ANSWER: Above answer is wrong. if it is 1/2 ton then it has the 350 turbo in it. The 3/4 tons used the 400 turbo in them.
yes it will
It came with a 700R-4
Sure, with some modifications.
NO it will not. The wiring harness and the ECM / Engine controll module will not operate the 700R transmission. You must put the 4L60E trans. back in the 93 model.
Yes
No it will not. The 93 has a 4L60E in it, not a 700R4
swivel adapter and long extensions. unbolt exhaust y pipe ,remove trans crossmember and lower eng.&trans. helps tremendous
the raptor 700r goes 75 to 80 mph.
yes you can bolt this trans to a 400 smallblock b ut you need to make sure that you put an attachment on your throttle linkage for the T.V. cable or the trans wont shift out of first gear
I had two Raptors at one point, but I sold my stock 700R. The fastest I went with my 700R was 139.5 mph @ 1/8 mile. I'll tell you about the one I still have, if you're intrested. I have a 2009 Yamaha Raptor 1200 GT-R SE DRAG (SE= Special Edition). Whenever you order one of those, you get a full wheelie bar kit, optional turbo-charger, and full drag body-gear. When I raced it, with no turbo or anything but wheelie bars and body-gear, I was clocked at 197.8 mph @ 1/8 mile! I was also doing a wheelie and spinning all the way down the track.Other opinions:I have a 380BHP busa that couldn't come near that speed!the 139.5 yea i think so but the 197.8 no way unless you had turbo w/ 15 lbs of boost an mayb nos
