An emergency vet is who people would call if they found an injured animal on the side of the road, and things like that. The emergency vet, no matter what kind of animal it was, would do his or her best to make the animal better. This can occur with domestic and wild animals. Or, you could be a wildlife vet. Hence the name, this vet would go out into the wilderness LOOKING for injured wildlife.
