Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) is used as a support for the dye molecule from the raspberry. Basically it helps the dye stick to the surface of the glass plate that's all.
The predominant way people make solar cells is through two layers of silicone that are separated by a permeable film. There are other ways to make solar cells. There is a design on the net to make a cell out of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) and raspberry juice. Whoever had enough time... and was bored enough to figure this out, well, my hat's off to you. Wish I had your time :)

The function of solar cell is to convert the energy from the sun into electricity. This is commonly referred to as a photovoltaic cell.
metal + human = tool tool + sun = solar cell sun + solar cell = electricity
A solar cell is an electronic device that converts sunlight into electricity. An array of them is called a solar panel.
A solar cell is not an energy source, but an energy converter. In the case of solar, the energy source is light, and the solar cell converts it from light energy to electrical energy.
It is a cell that coverts solar energy into electrical energy
It absorbs light just like a solar cell
I've found it out. It's; Light-->solar cell-->voltmeter.
