- When you head hurts after crying then you can listen to soft music of your choice (nothing loud) or, watch a funny movie and you may surprise yourself you may have a couple of good laughs out of the movie. Another thing you can do is have a good warm shower (not too hot) and this will relax your scalp and whole body and make you feel better or, you soak in the bath tub with bubbles and just relax for a good 20 minutes to half an hour. The steam from the water helps clear out nasal passages as well as relaxing the entire body.
You should listen to nice, quiet music, and chill. Just lay down and don't do anything. That way your body can recover.
