The galaxy. Depends what you mean. They could be studying the stars movement or the distance of the sun etc. MiniGenius™
It is a shaking or tremor that runs through the body due to a sudden draft of cold air. Some people also claim to experience a shiver when they are frightened by something. Shivering is a small movement in the skin's muscles which warms the body when it is cold, as any muscular exertion does.
Does the question mean the distance between two stars? It does change, but very slowly on a human time scale. In 100,000 years most of the familiar constellations will look quite different.
The exact number is not known. But it does seem that most stars have at least one planet, and probably several planets, at least on average. Not even the number of stars in the immediate neighborhood can be known for sure, since red dwarves are quite hard to detect. Here is an estimate. The Wikipedia article on "List of nearest stars" lists 56 hydrogen-fusing stars at a distance up to 5 parsec, or 16.3 light-years. Assuming the density of stars is more or less constant at distance up to 100 light-years, that would mean that for a volume 231 times larger (up to 100 light-years), there would be about 12,930 stars. Assuming that each of them has 1-10 planets on average, and doing some rounding, that would mean there are between 13,000 and 130,000 planets at that distance. Please note that despite the fairly large range, there is still a lot of guesswork involved.

That the person who gets it likes stars and the colors blue and gold...
yes they are, in fact, white stars a hotter than blue or red star, and blue stars are varie in sizes, red stars are usually mid size or red giants or super giants. the bigger they are does not mean they are hotter!
You might mean distance. Stars are not measured in elevation. Stars form apart from each other, that's why the distance to a star compared to another will never be the same.
The word "quiver" rhymes with shiver and can mean something amazing or thrilling.
