'Router' can refer to either a device for connecting computers together in a network, whether a local net or the internet, or a tool for woodworking, either the powered or traditioanl version.

If you have a router then it probably changed because your router was switched off for a while so your ip (set by your router) changes. This doesn't mean anything and you shouldn't worry about it but if you don't have a router...i really don't know what made it change.
