1. get a lan adapter 2. get a router 3. you need the motem with an extra space for the router 4. plug the adapter into the ps3 and then the router 5. connect the router into the motem but make sure the motem is still pluged into the computer. It should word after that

Depending on whether you use wireless or wired internet.
If you have wireless:
Go on your PS3 > Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings
if you at all get stuck, reply back if you have wireless because I will be able to help you with wireless.

If you have wired, then you need a cable to connect to get online (GAME usually have them in stock) apart from that, I can't help you if you have wired.
