Push the lever next to it as u pull the trigger then slide it out
You hold the slide back about half way and push out the slide retaining pin. At that point, the slide will come off the frame.
There should be a little slide lever next to the clip on the bottom of the rifle. either push in or push forward and the clip will release.

To disassemble the Beretta 85F, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and the magazine is removed. Then, pull the slide back slightly and engage the slide stop lever to hold it in place. Next, push the slide stop out from the left side of the frame, and then carefully slide the frame forward to separate it from the slide. Finally, you can remove the recoil spring and barrel from the slide for further disassembly.
There is a small round bobbly bit next to the safety catch, push this until it pops out. The slide should come off.
Make sure it us uncocked and push a own into the rear of the slide and push the button in and pull the slide up
IF THE 98 IS LIKE THE 97 ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REMOVE THE PLASTIC SHROUD (THE 97 HAS 2 PUSH PINS ) TAKE THE ONE NEXT TO THE GRILL OUT SLIDE THE SHROUD OUT OF THE WAY YOU WILL SEE 2 TABS PULL THEM UP AND THE LIGHT ASSEMBLY WILL COME OUT

make sre it's unloaded,push slide back till notch in slide lines up with slide lock-push it through to the other siide&out pull slide off frame,remove spring&rod from unger barrel & remove barrel
