A salad can be made from any 'salad' ingredients you have to hand so long as they are fresh and have been washed, a simple salad can be lettuce leaves, sliced cucumber and sliced tomato, but you can add or leave out anything you want to, some examples of other salad ingredients are: sliced onion, red and green pepper, water cress, radish, cooked beetroot, grated carrot. Finish your salad with a salad dressing. Enjoy. May as well add to the list: Turkey or Chicken

Tuna/Salmon

Hard boiled egg

Chick peas

Nuts

Orange sections

Raisins

Chunks of baked potato

Baby corn

Celery

Cauliflower

Croutons

Pasta
