In the first few minutes put ice on a burn. It hurts, but will heal better if you do and not leave a scar. Leave the burn open to the air and don't bandage it. Don't put an oil base on it and use Aloe instead. All of this will help it heal faster. If it is a bad burn go to the ER.

Aloe vera plant its wonderful! Kind of gooey but its natural and feels super good on a bad burn. This stuff can be found at all most every drug store its usually clear and thick with air bubbles or a slight greenish tint. Really works!
