The best thing you can do is either talk to your mother about this so she can talk to his mother and explain the circumstances or, you could talk to his mother on your own. It is most important that his parents know. It is up to the parents to deal with it from there. Once his parents know about it then you can tell him that you want some time to yourself and you are not ready to settle down with one person.
