That's how I am...I had to learn how to break out of my shell. Try to initiate more conversation than just a quick "hi" if he says hey to you. A simple "How was your weekend?" or "What's up?" can launch a nice conversation. Work at it day by day, and eventually you won't feel so shy around him anymore! Remember to be patient!
